Hull Plating

Hull Plating measures the damage that a combat unit can receive before collapsing. Damage to the structure is always dangerous, so it is possible for a combat unit to explode before receiving the total damage needed to. It is calculated through the base Hull plating of the combat unit (which depends directly from its Structural Integrity), and the level in Armour Technology.
