Production
The formula for the output of a Solar Satellite is
So if the max temp of your Planet was 36°C then your satellite output would be 29. The maximum output, however, is 50, despite some planets have a high enough max temp that they could produce 51-52 energy each.
The max temp of the planet is the second (highest) temperature given on the overview page.
Evaluation
Uses and Advantages
Satellites in massive numbers are the power source of choice to create the energy necessary for Graviton Technology.
Shortcomings
Satellites are easily destroyed. Any attacking fleet can and will destroy these satellites, which will result in a loss of resources, points and power. You do not want to rely on solar satellites as your primary power source, or even your secondary. Build a few to supplement your power if need be, but keep a Fusion Reactor on hand for backup. Additionally, planets that are farther from the sun (such as the fifteenth planet in a system) do not gain much energy from solar satellites.
